Two of the sharpest minds in functional rehabilitation practice, Charlie Weingroff and Rob Butler, get together to discuss pain,
rehab from injury and recurring injury -- how we should go about getting out of pain and fully rehabilitated, with the goal of
complete motor control and a lessened chance of future injury.
"At some point, there likely was a musculoskeletal construct that revealed pain to the brain, but after some time the
musculoskeletal lesion might actually be 100% healed. The brain is conditioned that when the knee moves a certain way or the
spine twists a certain way, it is meant to trigger a response that used to indicate a threat, but might not be a threat any
longer."~Charlie Weingroff
"Previous injury is the number one risk factor for an injury. Time and time again, we see this metric come out as one of the
strongest predictors of an injury. Why is this? Is it bad luck? Is it just coincidence or is it maybe something we left on the
table related to the previous discharge from the injury?"~Robert Butler

Trainable Human System and Managing the Manual Therapy
Process, with Patrick Ward.
